Subject: A Fast-Navigating Glossary of Linguistics

Never before seen on LINGUIST List, Sank's Glossary of Linguistics is
the linguistics product of Jon Paul Sank, a southern New Jersey
amateur with a few linguistics courses in his background, most
recently at Rutgers-Camden. Sank has been attending conferences on
core theoretical and experimental linguistics topics since the 32nd
Penn Linguistics Colloquium (PLC32), accelerating his pace during the
COVID-Zoom era. Sank attends as a mere listener, understanding what he
can and taking detailed notes. New-to-him terms are then marked for
possible inclusion in the glossary. He omits most introductory terms,
since the goal is to collect terms used at conferences.

The website's coding is minimalistically simple in order to facilitate
lightning-fast navigation. The front page is alphabetized like a
traditional encyclopedia. The overall design is designed to fit almost
any screen. On smartphones, Sank's Glossary of Linguistics becomes a
handy reference companion.
