all backgrounds and countries, interested in comparative and formal
approaches to theoretical linguistics as well as race and gender
studies, literature and fine arts.

Description:
The NYI Global Institute of Cultural, Cognitive and Linguistic Study
is an interdisciplinary institute focusing on theoretical linguistics,
cognitive science, and critical cultural studies. V-NYI is the
virtual, global version of NYI, now entering its 5th session this July
(June 29-July 14, 2023)

V-NYI #7 is open to students, artists, scholars and all curious minds,
from all backgrounds and countries, interested in comparative and
formal approaches to theoretical linguistics as well as race and
gender studies, literature and fine arts.

Participants create their own study program from seminars in the
following fields:
- Linguistics and Cognitive Science (Phonology, Morphology, Syntax,
Semantics, Field Work in Linguistics, Language and Ethnic Conflict,
Sign-Language Linguistics)
- Critical Cultural Studies (Race and Ethnicity Studies; Gender and
Sexuality Studies; Literature; Visual Arts) Minimum Education Level:
BA
