Meeting Description:

The conference is organised by the Faculty of Modern Languages (FML),
Univerisity of Warsaw, home of English, French, German, Hungarian,
Iberian, Italian and intercultural studies. In light of the linguistic
and cultural diversity of FML, the presentation languages of the 5th
SSU conference are English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

The key conference themes are multilingualism and diversity in the
context of an individual language learner and language settings and
classrooms. We welcome presentations related to all aspects of
language learning strategies, including but not limited to strategic
learning and teaching, teacher education, technology, and theoretical
aspects of learning strategy research around widely understood topics
of multilingualism, diversity, and inclusivity.
Keynote speakers: Mirosław Pawlak (Adam Mickiewicz University,
Poland), Tanja Angelovska (University of Salzburg, Austria), Nathan
Thomas (UCL, UK)
