The Program in Linguistics at Princeton University invites
applications for at least one tenure-track Assistant Professor
position, beginning September 1, 2024. The field of this search is
open: We encourage applications both from candidates whose research is
fully within theoretical linguistics, as well as from candidates whose
research falls at the intersection of linguistics with cognitive
science and/or computer science.

Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses, advising
at the undergraduate and postdoc level, and service, as well as
participating in the intellectual life of the Program in Linguistics.
A PhD, no later than September 1, 2024, is required.

The Program in Linguistics is especially interested in candidates who,
through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the
diversity and excellence of the academic community. Candidates are
welcome to describe in their cover letter how their experiences and
approaches promote diversity in the curriculum, broadly defined,
including in advancing discovery and understanding; in promoting
training and learning; and in broadening the participation of our
student population in a disciplinary subject area.

 - A research statement,
 - A teaching statement,
 - Teaching evaluations (if available), and

longlist stage.
