We are delighted to announce that the highly IIEMCA 2024 will be held
at Sogang University in Seoul, Korea, from June 24-28, 2024. We
welcome scholars from around the world specializing in
ethnomethodology and conversation analysis.

As the technology continuously evolves, reshaping our interaction,
IIEMCA 2024 aims to serve as a nexus for these changing times. Please
note that our use of the term, “Digital Landscape” simply denotes the
prevailing social and cultural environments following the COVID 19. It
is not designed to limit submissions to purely technology-focused
topics.

We eagerly anticipate a wide range of EMCA contributions, whether
exploring new facets of the digital domain or traditional EMCA topics.
IIEMCA 2024 is eager to embrace your academic endeavors.

The International Institute for Ethnomethodology and Conversation
Analysis (IIEMCA), founded in 1989, is an international consortium of
people and institutions dedicated to the advancement of theory and
method in ethnomethodological and conversation analytic studies and to
the development of research, instructional programs, conferences,
symposia and lectures. IIEMCA 2024 will be held in Seoul, South Korea,
from June 24 to June 28.
