Meeting Description:

We are pleased to invite researchers and educators to submit abstracts
for our upcoming online workshop on "Research Based Practices in the
Teaching of Turkish as L2" organized at the University of Toronto.
This event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among
researchers and practitioners worldwide in the field of teaching
Turkish as a foreign/second/additional/heritage language.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts may focus on any aspect of the teaching, learning, or
processing of Turkish as a foreign/second/additional/heritage
language. 150–250-word abstracts should be submitted through EasyAbs:
https://easyabs.linguistlist.org/conference/L2Turkish/ by 8 April
2024.
As the workshop is open to both practitioners and researchers,
submissions may cover, but are not limited to:
-       Pedagogical strategies and practices in Turkish language
teaching
-       Innovative teaching methodologies
-       Technology in language teaching
-       Assessment and evaluation
-       Curriculum development
-       Teaching and learning materials
-       Cultural aspects in language teaching
-       Literature in Turkish language teaching
-       Teaching Turkish to young learners/adult learners
-       Immersion

-       Individual differences among learners
-       Cross-linguistic influence, transfer, code-switching
-       Acquisition of Turkish as a foreign/second/additional/heritage
language
-       Turkish language bi-/multilingualism
-       Experimental studies on Turkish as a
foreign/second/additional/heritage language
-       Sociolinguistic aspects of Turkish as a
foreign/second/additional/heritage language
-       Psycholinguistics studies and research on the processing of
Turkish as a foreign/second/additional/heritage language
