Subject: Trauma-Informed Practices for Migrants: Applications in Applied Linguistics


This volume explores the connection between language and trauma,
highlighting ways that applied linguists can integrate trauma-informed
approaches across the scope of their work. Proposals should focus on
trauma-informed perspectives in the areas of language policy and
planning, foreign language learning and teaching, interpreting,
discourse and narratives, and/or mental health and health care. We
encourage submissions that explore these issues in different parts of
the world and welcome multidisciplinary contributions from researchers
and practitioners alike.

Please submit a 200 word proposal to the editors Maybritt Woodcock
(maybritt.woodcock at uni-greifswald.de) and Emily Feuerherm
(feuerher at umich.edu) by March 17th 2024. More details can be found at
