Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Rutgers, the State University of New
Jersey – New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, one-year,
non-tenure track (nonrenewable) position as a Lecturer in Linguistics
with a specialization in Semantics. Duties consist primarily of
teaching at the undergraduate level. This is a 3-3 teaching load
position; the successful candidate will teach three courses each
semester in Semantics and Pragmatics. Applicants should be aware that
visa support will not be offered for this position.

Applications should include:

 - Cover letter;

 -Teaching philosophy;
 - Teaching evaluations;
 - Up to three research papers (optional).

Qualifications:

The candidate must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in
Linguistics, preferably with a dissertation specializing in Semantics
or related subfield by August 31, 2024.
