Meeting Description:

This conference delves into the multifaceted relationship between
Languages for Specific Purposes (LSPs) and digital technology.
Beginning with the early integration of digital tools into classrooms
in the 1990s, the conference traces the evolution of this
relationship, exploring four key themes. These themes encompass the
use of digital tools in characterizing LSPs, the emergence and
transformation of discursive genres in the digital age, the impact of
digital tools on teaching and learning LSPs, and the role of
artificial intelligence (AI) tools in both research and teaching LSPs.
The conference seeks scholarly contributions that investigate these
themes, inviting proposals that address the dynamic interplay between
digital technology and the field of Languages for Specific Purposes.
Theme 1: Use of Digital Tools to Characterise Languages for Specific
Purposes
Theme 2: Characterising Emerging Digital Genres and Digital Mediation
for Discursive Genres
Theme 3: Teaching and Learning Languages for Specific Purposes with
Digital Tools
Theme 4: Artificial Intelligence Tools for Research and Teaching and
Learning Languages for Specific Purposes and Specialised Translation

Paper proposals must be submitted on the scienceconf platform.
Proposals, anonymized, should range between 450 and 600 words. A
separate document should include a biography.
