Subject: Transcription of Bulgarian dialect recordings

A linguist is needed to transcribe a small set of Bulgarian dialect
recordings from South Bulgaria (Smoljan Region) as part of the project
‘Declining case: Inflectional loss in progress’. The project is
carried out at Surrey Morphology Group, University of Surrey, UK (http
s://www.smg.surrey.ac.uk/projects/declining-case-inflectional-loss-in-
progress). Only orthographic transcripts are required but retaining
grammatical properties of the dialect is essential. Background in
Bulgarian linguistics, native or near-native proficiency in Bulgarian
and experience in Bulgarian dialectology would be welcome. Software
and instructions will be provided.

If you are interested, please email to Alexander Krasovitsky
(a.krasovitsky at surrey.ac.uk) for further details.
