Meeting Description:

The AMC Symposium is a biennial event hosted by the Angus McIntosh
Centre for Historical Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh.  The
overall topic of the Symposium is Historical Linguistics, with no
restrictions to particular languages or sub-disciplines. However, each
Symposium iteration has a main theme, which the invited speakers are
invited to address.
The Fourth AMC Symposium is on the theme "Contact and Language
Change".

Call for Papers:

We are accepting abstracts for talks and posters in the Symposium’s
main theme, “Contact and Language Change”, as well as in other topics
in Historical Linguistics.

Key dates:
Abstracts due: 30 April 2024
Notifications: 15 June 2024
Conference: 2-4 December 2024
