Cet atelier, organisé à Nancy du 22 au 24 mars 2010, avant les
journées "sémantique et modélisation", est destiné aux étudiants (des
L3 au Doctorants) et aux collègues ayant un intérêt pour les questions
sémantiques que soulève le travail sur le langage naturel et pour leur
modélisation dans des cadres logiques.

L'atelier a pour objectif d’assurer d’une part une introduction à la
sémantique formelle accessible sans prérequis ; et d’autre part de
proposer des cours fondamentaux mais aussi plus avancé sur des sujets
sémantiques variés.

Il bénéficie du soutien du GDR du CNRS "SÉMANTIQUE ET MODELISATION"
dirigé par Francis Corblin, des universités de Nancy, de l'INRIA et de
l'ATALA.

Des bourses au logement subventionnées par l'ATALA seront proposées
aux premiers étudiants inscrits (voir plus bas).

Logement:
--------

Pour le logement étudiant en chambre twin exclusivement, un accord a
été conclus avec le Residhome Appart Hotel de Nancy
(http://www.residhome.com/residence-hoteliere-aparthotel-nancy-123.html)
et porte sur des studios de deux lits. Chaque studio sera partagé par
deux étudiants.

Cet accord est garanti jusqu'au *28 février* et comprend :

  + un tarif préférentiel de 25 euros/nuit/personne pour un séjour d'au
    moins 5 nuits dans une chambre twin

  + un tarif préférentiel de 28 euros/nuit/personne pour un séjour de 1
    à 4 nuits dans une chambre twin

Conditions:
--------

Chaque étudiant souhaitant bénéficier de cet accord doit formuler sa
demande sur le site d'inscription en ligne. En fonction des
disponibilités restantes, une réponse de confirmation lui sera faite
dans les 48h. Il devra payer personnellement son logement auprès de
l'hotel en mentionnant l'accord avec l'INRIA.

Pour bénéficier de ce logement, il faudra impérativement le partager
avec une autre personne. Si deux personnes souhaitent partager un
studio, elles doivent chacune le signaler au moment de la réservation
sur le site d'inscription.

Aide au financement pour les étudiants:

Grâce au soutien de l'ATALA (http://atala.org), une prise en charge de
50 euros pour l'ensemble du séjour sera accordée aux étudiants en
faisant la demande :

+ prioritairement aux étudiants assistant à la semaine complète
  (atelier + conférence)
+ par ordre d'inscription reçue et payée
+ dans la limite des moyens disponibles

This student school, held in Nancy from 22 to 24 March 2010, before
the conference of the GDR "semantic modeling" is intended to Master
students and PhD, in linguistics, computer science and mathematics and
to interested colleagues.

It aims to ensure both an introduction to formal semantics accessible
without prerequisites, and secondly to propose basic courses but also
more advanced topics on semantics.

It is supported by the GDR CNRS "SEMANTIC AND MODELING "directed by

Accomodation
--------

For student accomodoation, an agreement was reached with the Residhome
Apart Hotel Nancy :

The agreement is secured until * February 28 * and includes:

+ special price of 25 euros / night / person for a stay of at least 5
  night

+ special price of 28 euros / night / person for a stay of 1 to 4
 nights

and covers studios with two beds. Each studio will be shared by two
students.

Each student wishing to benefit from this agreement must reserve
personally its housing to the hotel, mentioning the agreement with
INRIA.

The hotel will handle the distribution of students in studios. If two
people want to share a studio, they each must be reported at the time
of booking.

Conditions:
--------

Each student who request for this agreement must make its request on
the registration website. Depending on availability, a confirmation
email will be send within 48 hours. The room must be payed by the
student to the hotel (don't forget to mention the agreement with
INRIA).

Financial Support
-------------------

With the support of ATALA (http://atala.org), a support of 50 euros
will be given to students who request it:

+ Priority to students attending the full week (conference + workshop)
+ 1 grant maximum per registration
+ Grants will be provided until within the limit of our budget
