Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the first edition of the online Master in
Terminology, completely in English. This is the English version of the
Master in Terminology which has been offered in Spanish over the last
ten years by IULATERM, Research Group in Terminology of the Institute
for Applied Linguistics (IULA) at Pompeu Fabra University.

The Master in Terminology is addressed to all professionals interested
in terminology. The goals and objectives in pursuing a Master's degree
in Terminology are many, ranging from acquiring or broadening the
knowledge on the subject to become a qualified professional in the field
of terminology, to developing the necessary skills to be able to
participate in or coordinate terminological projects with autonomy.

The Master in Terminology is composed of five different modules which
can also be taken separately:

Level 1: Foundations of Terminology (10 ECTS credits)

Level 2: Terminology and Professional Needs (20 ECTS credits)

Workshop: Methodology for Terminology Work (10 ECTS credits)

Workshop: Neology (5 ECTS credits)

Final Master Project (15 ECTS credits)*

*Only for students who have completed all the previous modules and wish
 to obtain the Master Degree.
