The Lund Institute of Technology at Lund University has announced one
funded PhD position in language technology. The task of the PhD
candidate will be to develop semantic components, primarily for Swedish
and possibly for other languages, and integrate them in a
question-answering system.

The required background for this position is a Master of Science in
Computer science or other academic education with corresponding contents
in computer science and mathematics. Excellent programming skills and
knowledge in mathematics and/or machine learning are required as well as
documented knowledge and interest in natural language processing.

Deadline for applications is October 1, 2013.
