Thanks so much, Andy. I'll add the reference to our Low Saxon (Low German)
offline resource guide
(http://www.geocities.com/sassisch/rhahn/lowlands/low_saxon_offline.htm) as
soon as I get around to it.

For the benefit of a handful of LL-L subscribers who are English- and
Scots-challenged, below my version in Low Saxon (Low German).

Please note that the city referred to in LS as "Eckernför" is better known by
its German name "Eckernförde."

Please also note that _In dütt komodige Familijenbad_ does not really mean
"The comic family bath" but is more accurately translated as "In this
cosy/comfortable family beach resort." Also, _Lüüd ut Eckernför und umto_
should be _Lüüd ut Eckernför un umto_ which means "Folks of
Eckernför/Eckernförde and environs/surrounding areas." (_Umto_ [?Um'toU] or
_ümto_ [?Ym'toU] means 'round about'.)

Sorry to be such a stickler.

Leve Lüüd', wat us Andrew Eagle us baven up Schottsch un up Ingelsch verklaart
hett, dat will ick hier nochmaal gau an Ju up "Platt" wiedergeven:

In't düütsche Bladd "Die Zeit" vun'n 30.03.00 is 'n Bericht över 'n CD up
Neddersassisch (Nedderdüütsch):

In dütt komodige Familijenbad
1920-1945 - Lüüd ut Eckernför
un umto vertellt von düstern Tieden

Plattdeutsches Hörbuch,
Feature von Astrid Matthiae;
1 CD, 60 Minuten,
