Thanks to Richard Kopp, the webmaster, as well as my persuasive power and some
help from me, there is now a web list of Low Saxon/Low German folksongs:

access the lyrics.  You can listen to the tunes in MIDI format wherever
"Melodie" is a link. From http://www.acronet.net/~robokopp/folkindx.htm you
can also access lists of songs from England, Ireland, Scotland, the USA and
Wales, as well as many non-Lowlandic songs.  Among the sea shanties you will
also find several in Dutch.
