Subject: Online resources

Dear Lowlanders,

If you wish to enjoy recorded or live radio and television programs in your
favorite Lowlands language(s), or some non-Lowlandic language, Heaven forbid,
you might like to take advantage of the currently free download offer of Earth
Tuner <http://www.earthtuner.com/>, a program that allows you to tune in to
virtually all online stations, selecting them by name, by list or by country
(with a nifty movable globe selector), with search.

Unfortunately, the Low Saxon (Low German) speaking area is so far not terribly
well represented, though there is always Radio Bremen's contributions. Also
unfortunately, "Hamburg Welle" is not listed, and I was hoping to be able to
hear some of their all-day Low Saxon programming on January 12, 2000 ...

Oh, and there is nothing, nada, zilch for Scotland, apparently no Afrikaans
and Frisian either, though South Africa and the Netherlands are amply
represented ... Shucks!

Best regards,

Reinhard/Ron
