From: R. F. Hahn <sassisch at yahoo.com>
Subject: Resources

Dear Lowlanders,

We now have two additional versions of the story _De Tuunkrüper_ (The Wren) at
<http://www.geocities.com/sassisch/rhahn/low-saxon/ls-story.html>.

Luc Hellinckx of Halle, Belgium, contributed a version in the Brabantish
dialect of the village of Merchtem, 15 km northeast of Brussels.

Jack Driedger of Blumenheim, Saskatchewan, Canada, contributed a version in
the Mennonite Low Saxon ("Plautdietsch") dialect of the Khortitza Colony ("Old
Colony"), Ukraine. This is in addition to a Mennonite Low Saxon version in
the dialect of the Molochna Colony, Ukraine, contributed by Eldo Neufeld of
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Thanks to Luc and Jack, and again to everyone who contributed previously
announced versions. Further versions are invited and ought to be sent to me
at <sassisch at yahoo.com>. They do not have to be in a Lowlands language
variety but may be in any language. Versions in other Germanic varieties,
such as North Germanic ones, would be especially appreciated. It looks as
though at least one other version will be forthcoming shortly. So please keep
watching the site, and remember that in navigating it you have a choice
between English, ("High") German and Northern Low Saxon (Low German).

Enjoy!

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
