Some others already said that this doesn't show that Scots 'keek' is not
a cognate of Dutch 'kijken'. The meanings aren't that far away from each
other.

In addition, a Dutch word for photograph is 'kiekje', which is in fact
very close to the Scots use mentioned by Sandy...
