meer bestait.  Ick heff er seggt, dat 'n Barg Minschen wied un sied an er
dinkt un er gaue Beternis wünscht, un ick heff er verspraken, dat ick jüm
düsse Naricht tostüür.  Ick schall er warmsten Gröten an Jie alltohoop
uutrichten un seggen, dat se sick to all de Emails, Post un Anropen basig

Hello, everyone!
A few weeks ago our member Ms. Clara Kramer-Freudenthal got a thrombosis,
and for a while her doctors feared she would get an embolism.  This morning
I called her again in order to find out how she was doing.  I spoke with
her husband and with her.  The thrombosis is still there, as is a
considerable amount of pain, and she has to elevate her leg at all times.
She is aware that this will not go away so quickly at her age (81) and that
she must be patient, but it is not easy for this usually so active and
energetic woman.  The good thing is that the danger of an embolism forming
seems to be over.  I told her that many people far and wide think of her
and wish her speedy recovery, and I promised to send this message out to
everyone.  I am supposed to give all of you her warmest regards and to tell
you that she was delighted to get all the email messages, mail and calls,
and that she sends her heartfelt thanks to everyone.  You will find her
addresses below.
