Dr Dauvit Horsebroch for permission to publish his article "NOSTRA VULGARI
LINGUA: SCOTS AS A EUROPEAN LANGUAGE 1500 - 1700"
Previously published in 'Scottish Language, 1999, Nummer 18, ISSN 0264-0198'
by the 'Association for Scottish Literary Studies'.

It deals with Scots being used and recognised as a trade and diplomatic
language in the past.
