"Moin Reinhard, nu koast Du kiekje, Pyt Kramer uut Mildaam häd mie dät so ap
mien Siede broacht, iek moate nu oaber uk wäil noch en Gästebouk hääbe, dät
kumt dan noch, iek kon dät nit moakje, technisk bän iek daach so dum.
Mien Huussiede: http://members.tripod.de/seelter
Pyt Kramer: http://members.tripod.de/seelt
Iek wonskje Jou en froaien Dai, bit ap uur Moal.
Ful Gröitnis fon Gretchen Grosser uut Roomelse in't Seelterlound"

(Mien Översetten: "Moin, Reinhard. Nu kannst Du kieken. Pyt Kramer uut
Mildaam/Mildam [Fryslân] hett mie dat so up mien Sied bröcht. Ick mutt nu man
ook wull noch 'n Gästbook hebben. Dat kümmt denn noch. Ick kann dat nich
maken. Technisch bün ick doch so dumm. Mien Huussied:
http://members.tripod.de/seelter, Pyt Kramer: http://members.tripod.de/seelt.
Ick wünsch Ju 'n moien Dag, bit to't tokamene Maal. Veel Gröötnissen vun Juun
Gretchen Grosser uut Ramsloh in't Saterland.")

Folks,

This morning I found an email message from Gretchen Grosser
(Gretchen.Grosser at t-online.de). She lives in Roomelse/Ramsloh in Saterland
(Seelterlound, Northern Germany), and she has been doing a lot for her Sater
Frisian language. It is the last remnant of the East Frisian language, which
is extinct in Eastern Friesland. Ms. Grosser informed me that she now has her
own home page in Sater Frisian, at least the beginning of a page. She wrote
in Sater Frisian:

"Moin Reinhard, nu koast Du kiekje, Pyt Kramer uut Mildaam häd mie dät so ap
mien Siede broacht, iek moate nu oaber uk wäil noch en Gästebouk hääbe, dät
kumt dan noch, iek kon dät nit moakje, technisk bän iek daach so dum.
Mien Huussiede: http://members.tripod.de/seelter
Pyt Kramer: http://members.tripod.de/seelt
Iek wonskje Jou en froaien Dai, bit ap uur Moal.
Ful Gröitnis fon Gretchen Grosser uut Roomelse in't Seelterlound"

(My translation: Hi, Reinhard! Take a look! Pyt Kramer of Mildaam/Mildam
[Fryslân] has made a web page for me. I guess I need a visitors' book now.
That will follow. I can't do it myself, because I have no technological
know-how. My home page: http://members.tripod.de/seelter, Pyt Kramer:
http://members.tripod.de/seelt. I wish you a nice day, till next time. Kind
regards from Gretchen Grosser from Roomelse/Ramsloh in Saterland.")

Apparently, these are the first Sater Frisian web pages. I was really happy
to find out about them and have added links to them to our list of Frisian
links (http://www.geocities.com/sassisch/rhahn/lowlands/links_frysk.htm), also
Pyt Kramer's other page (http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Atrium/6641/index.htm
-- in Bildts, Welsh, German, English, French, Mooring North Frisian,
Westerlauwer ["West"] Frisian, Dutch, Sater Frisian, and Stellingwerven Low
Saxon). Mr. Kramer seems to be a true "Lowlander."

Regards
Reinhard/Ron
