invite me to fill out a questionnaire about the manner and extent of use of
Low Saxon ("Low German") on the Internet.  It goes without saying that I will
oblige.  I am passing his request on to you and am encouraging you to
participate.  You will find a copy of Helge's message below.  I hope we will
eventually be able to read his paper on the topic.

Germanistik mit Schwerpunkt Niederdeutsch. Zur Zeit nehme ich an einem
Seminar mit dem Thema "Kommunikative Aspekte des Niederdeutschen" von
Prof. Jürgen Meier teil.
Meine Seminararbeit soll sich mit der Präsenz des Niederdeutschen in dem
noch jungen Medium des Internets beschäftigen. Da hierzu, nach meiner
Kenntnis, bisher noch keine wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen vorliegen,
möchte ich Sie bitten, an einer, ihre plattdeutsche Webseite
betreffenden, Umfrage teilzunehmen.

mir durch die Beantwortung der Fragen mit, die Rolle des neuen
Kommunikationsmittels Internet für das Niederdeutsche zu erschließen.
