Subject: Offline Resources

I used the opportunity of several bookstands being set up at the
occasion of the 6th "Nederlandse Dialectendag" (for the first time in
Belgium) in the castle of the teutonic order "Alden Biesen" in Belgian
Limburg (450 participants) - followed in the evening with the start of
"Veldeke Bels(j) Limburg" (150 participants) - for filling some gaps in
my home library.

1. the manual with the proceedings of the conference:

(pp. 9-92: proceedings, pp. 93 ff.: independent contributions to the
subject, e.g. Groningen pp 111-128, Drenthe 129-146 etc.)

- CD "Achterhook Butengewoon Nederland"

3. At the booth of "Van de Berg" publishers, Enschede, though they had a
very extensive collection of romans in dialect, I just bought a
dictionary:

- Dijkhuis, Twents Woordenboek, 1991, 1294 pp.

4. At the booth of the IJselacademie, Kampen, I bought:

- Spa, De dialecten van Groot-IJsselmuiden, Klank- en Vormleer, 2000,
148 pp.
- Scholtmeijer, Woordenboek van de Overijselse Dialecten, 1 - Het Huis -
A, 2000, 136 pp.
- Fien e.a.: Woordenboek van de Kamper taal, 2000, 192 pp.

5. At the booth of the Werkgroep Utrechts dialect, I bought:

- Martens van Vliet, De vollekstaol van de stad Uterech, derde..
aangevulde..druk, 2000, 191 pp.
- Nagel e.a., Woordenboek van Bunschoten-Spakenburg en Eemdijk; tweede

Hoeilaarts, 2000, 144 pp.
- CD Crejatief complot zonder complexe

9. Booth of "De Zeeuwssche Vereeniging voor Dialectonderzoek"

- Tussen Holland en Vlaanderen, 1989, 184 pp. (an anthology)
- van den Broecke-de Man & Eggermont: Dialecten in
Oost-Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen, 1982, 247 pp.

So, just for in case someone is looking for reference works. Though it
must be said that what's listed above is only a tiny part of what's
available at these dialect societies.

Regards,

Roger
