I don't know - I'm really not an expert on this stuff.

There's an aber/inver map ("aber" is P-Celtic, "inver" Q-Celtic)
in "The Uses of Place Names" ed. Simon Taylor, Scottish Cultural
Press 1998, ISBN 1-898218-98-6 which shows the Q-Celtic area in
the south west of Scotland as confined to a very narrow strip
along the coast. So yes, it might be just possible!

Incidentally, the map shows the Lothian Q-Celtic area as being
larger than I'd thought - though it's rather small-scale so I
don't know if that matters. I'll have to check it out sometime.
