Dear Lowlanders,

Yesterday I received the e-mail below of a Canadian looking for a book about
Frisian poetry. Does anyone know where to obtain this book?

Hallo mede-Afrikaner!

 My naam is JAN MIENIE en ek is tans 'n leerder in graad 9 te Potchefstroom
Gimnasium, Potchefstroom, Noord-Wes provinsie,
 Suid-Afrika.

 Ek staan die bevordering van Afrikaans voor en juis daarom neem ek deel aan
die Afrikaanse Expo wat landwyd in Suid-Afrika aangebied
 word vir skoolleerlinge.  Ek het egter u hulp nodig om my navorsing te doen
en versoek dat u asseblief die onderstaande vraelys vir my sal
 voltooi en terugstuur by die volgende e-pos adres:  bchacm at puknet.puk.ac.za &
merk dit asseblief vir die aandag van JAN MIENIE.

 In 'n neutedop kan my onderwerp as volg beskryf word:  Die buiteland beskou
Afrikaans (as taal) as beperkend.

 Felix HÜlsey het my na u verwys.

 Stuur asseblief hierdie inligting aan soveel as moontlik ander persone in die
buiteland wat moontlik kan help met die inligting soos in die
 vraelys vervat.  Ek sal dit baie waardeer!!

aanbied?

 Noem asseblief watter universiteite (en indien moontlik, verskaf asseblief
e-pos adresse van hierdie universiteite)

 8.  Beskou u Afrikaans as 'n 'bedreigde" taal?

     Verduidelik?

 9.  Het Afrikaans as taal 'n bydrae gelewer tot die sukses wat u beroepsgewys
of persoonlik behaal het?

      Verduidelik waarom?

 10.  Ander inligting wat my kan help met die bevordering van Afrikaans:
