it's a pleasure to read both of You, in Your special discussion about

bodies, parts and functions.

Sandy, in this case modern scientology didn't really change too much;
there
is still the convincement for a pain-centre in our brains, but also some
pain-receptors (like the "reflexes" in Your knees) in the peripherie.

Please- don't underestimate middle-aged, or even former, M.D.s.
