Fiete,

As I understand it, it's just literal - "pure" as in "not
mixed", in this case I meant it wasn't found in any other
kind of English, other than that spoken in England itself.

Sandy,

This phenomenon is not totally restricted to England but has also been
observed in Australia, as I had mentioned and Margaret Luck (Australia)
had confirmed.
