Lowlanders,

(1)
Again, thanks to all of you who already responded to my various requests
for translations. I have one more, hopefully last request. Ineed the
various language equivalents of "Send (off)" and "Reset." The latter,
which is a rather technical term, may be a bit difficult, and you might
have to use some imagination but at the same time make it easy to
understand. The process "reset" denotes is simple: erase all the data
you have entered on a web form. In Northern Low Saxon (Low German) I am
torn between _Trüggstellen_ (more technical but also more obscure),
_Uutwischen_ ("wipe out") and _Uutraderen_ ("erase").

So, here goes:

English: 1. Send, 2. Reset
Afrikaans: 1. (Afstuur?), 2. (Terugset?)
Amrum Frisian (Öömrang): 1. ___, 2. ___
Appalachian: 1. ___, 2. ___
Dutch: 1. (Afsturen?), 2. (Terugzetten?)
Limburgish (General Written): 1. ___, 2. ___
Limburgish (Western, Vliermaal): 1. ___, 2. ___
Mennonite Low Saxon (Low German): 1. (Aufscheckje?), 2. (Trigjstalle?)
Mooring Frisian (Frasch): 1. ___, 2. ___
Northern Low Saxon (Low German): 1. Afschicken, 2. Trüggstellen
Sater Frisian: 1. ___, 2. ___
Scots: 1. ___, 2. ___
Shetlandic: 1. ___, 2. ___
Stellingwerven Low Saxon: 1. ___, 2. ___
Twente Low Saxon: 1. ___, 2. ___
Ulster Scots: 1. ___, 2. ___
Westerlauwer ("West") Frisian: 1. (Ôfstjoere?), 2. ___
Zeelandic (Zeêuws): 1. ___, 2. ___

Please send your translations to me personally: sassisch at yahoo.com

I succeeded in installing a subscription application form on our
homepage (http://www.geocities.com/sassisch/rhahn/lowlands/). And it
even works! One person already used it to apply. (Welcome!) Kudos to
Mathieu van Woerkom for all his help. I will install the form on the
various language versions as soon as I can find the time and get all the
information (thanks to your collaboration). Mathieu also provided a
Limburgish version of the rules and guidelines, and I will post it
later.

(3)
I plan to be absent between tomorrow and late this coming Monday (unless
we have another freak blizzard like yesterday). Sandy Fleming is kind
enough to take over the steering wheel during my brief absence. If you
write to me privately during my absence I will reply sometime early next
week.

Thank you all for your cooperation and support!

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
