I'm puzzled by this observation. Adjectives in modern English,
at least in the variety that I know, are indeclineable. They are
not made to agree with the nouns that they qualify, either in number
or in case.

For example, one does not say "two littles houses" or "the
new's day's dawning".

So what does the observation above refer to?
