Dear Mari Sarv and Ron,

Being no linguist myself I cannot say much more than oh yeah? facing such
theories. Nevertheless I was very excited when I read about professor
Wiik's research a couple of years ago. I even wanted to mention it on
Lowlands discussion group but considered it a bit far from the main issue.
Like you said, Ron, the popular-media-adapted version does not provide all
that much scientific detail. Professor Week himself seems to be very open
to discussion. I found his e-mail address on his own site

I'm sure he would be eager to correspond whith such experts as you two. I
might add that Wiik's theory has aroused a whole lot of controversy in
scientific circles here.
