Dear Lowlanders,

A happy holiday to all of you who will celebrate the Fourth Advent in the
Western Christian tradition tomorrow!

A happy holiday also to those of you who in the Northern Hemisphere
celebrate Alban Arthuan ("Light of Arthur") and in the Southern Hemisphere
celebrate Alban Heruin / Alban Hefin ("Light of Summer") in the Celtic
traditions, namely Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice respectively.

Last but by no means least, here is wishing our Jewish friends continued joy
as Hanukkah (Chanuka), the celebration of light and survival, goes on.
