Hello Lowlanders,

Mostly in the years between the 14th and 16th century it was usefull in
Germany to take the surnames from the profession of the people or from
localities. For the spelling and the pronunciation has changed since

time it is hard to find out the meaning of surnames.
I ask you for help to find out the meaning of the surname Legedeur. The
family with this name lived in the Emsland area which is in north west
of
Germany. Now the family Legedeur lives in the Netherland.

Questions, always more questions!

It's rather colloquial Welsh, I've never seen it written
but if I've parsed it right it'll be like this:

'na - short for 'dyna' ('there')

ti - thee

perception - typical English borrowing as in Welsh speakers
             who never got taught in Welsh at school

i - to

...add an implied "to be", and of course the indefinite
article which isn't used in Welsh, and you've got:

'There's a perception for you!'
