Greetings Reuben, greetings Lowlanders,

Thanks for all the supplementary info on the subject of
Plautdietsch. Soory, I was so ignorant that there was
with you such an eminent specialist on the subject
amongst us.
With respect to the above quote, I feel obliged to jump in to
defend the good man in Quito. I guess he made just a simple
calculation error and he meant "150" because in the same
letter of his, just a couple of lines further down he writes:
"Diejenigen die in Russland blieben wurden fuerchterlich vom Bolschewismus
und Kommunismus verfolgt, und sind nach Moeglichkeiten gefluechtet.

By the way, the author of the letter (I had edited his name
away) is Hermann Schirmacher of radio HCJB in Quito.
