Subject: Etymology

This is a new query for Mathieu, Reinhard, Luc or someone else familiar with
Limburgs and the various dialects.
I have noticed the word for swing (E); schommel (D); schaukel (G) written 2
different ways in Limburgs. The way I know it is spelt as sjogkel and I
believe this is Mestreechter taol. I have seen it in a Limburgs dictionary
spelt as sjókgel. Are both these spellings appropriate or is one of the
spellings not correct?
