Subject: online Nederlands-Nedersassisch dictionary

There was a very useful online Nederlands - Nedersassisch dictionary which
seems to have disappeared in the changeover of the Lowlands group.
Unfortunately, I cannot remember its exact name. Does anyone have a
current URL for it? Thanks.

Michael

Hi Mike,

I think that you are referring to the unfinished LL-L dictionary project
that was located at www.lowlands-l.net/dictionaries. If so, you are right
that these pages have temporarily disappeared since LL-L changed to a new
server. But: the old IP-address (on which our website was hosted), is
still available, although it is not very trustworthy anymore...If you go
directly to <http://66.216.52.190/dictionaries/index.htm>, you might be
lucky and still find the dictionaries there...There is one problem,
though: the only dictionary that still works is the Dutch-Stellingwerven
Low Saxon one, for the others, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a few
weeks...

However, this dictionary project is far from finished. A team has been
working on making an english-scots-dutch-low
saxon-limburgish-german-norwegian dictionary (help is still welcome by the
way :-) !), and for now, we are kind of stuck at the letter C (due to too
little time on our hands).

Other dictionaries *are* finished, though, such as Dutch-Frsian-Dutch,
Dutch-Limburgish-Dutch, German-Seeltersk-German, etc. In the upcoming
weeks, I will try to put the dictionary project back online, probably at
<http://dictionaries.lowlands-l.net>, so keep checking that URL!

kind regards,
Mathieu
