Jüstemang by my mit de post ankamen sünd twey düytschsprakige böyker vun
belang för Neddersassisch (Nedderdüytsch, Platdüytsch) in Kristliche
kringen:

Just received in the mail (as review copies) are two German language books
dealing with the use of Lowlands Saxon (Low German) in Christian circles:

   1.
Kröger, Heinrich; _Plattdüütsch in de Kark in drei Jahrhunderten_,
   vol. 2 "20. Jahrhundert". Missionshandlung Hermannsburg, 2001,
   ISBN 3-87546-153-3.

Dey eyrste band (18.-19. Jhd.) is 1998 ruutkamen, un Hein Kröger hett daar
vör d'n Fritz-Reuter-Preis vun dey Alfred-Toepfer-Stiftung F.V.S. (Hamborg)
kregen. Dey drüdde band (born- un leseteksten) schal eyrstdaags ruutkamen.

The first volume (18th-19th centuries) appeared in 1998 and earned Heinrich
Kröger the Fritz Reuter Prize awarded by the Alfred Toepfer Endowment
(Hamburg). The third volume (sources and readers) is forthcoming.

   2.
Andresen, Dieter; _"godspell that guoda": Anfänge kirchlicher
Terminologie und theologischer Rede in niederdeutscher Sprache_,
"De Kennung: Zeitschrift für plattdeutsche Gemeindearbeit",
Beiheft 10. Soltau: Selbstverlag der Plattform "Plattdüütsch in de
   Kark", 2002.

Düt is Andresen syn teoloogsche dokterarbayd (Kiel 1982) mit 'n anhangte
bibliografie. Ofschoonst 't up teoloogsche aard un wys' schreven is, is dat
för dat studeyren vun dey Oldsassische spraak vun belang.

This is Andresen's theological doctoral dissertation (Kiel, 1982) with an
appended bibliography. Although the approach is theological, the material is
of use to those studying the Old Saxon language. It compares early
Christian writings to present an Old Saxon ecclesiastic terminology.

Kumpelmenten/Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
