On my computer, in 'My Favourites', I have this website address:

This may be of use to Susanne Mundle, Germany / Hamburg.  I also know of
a series of books (written in English), which is good for self-study of
other languages.  I once borrowed the Icelandic one from the library and
was fascinated to see the close links with 'old Dutch'.  (I understand
that Icelandic has / had changed relatively little over the centuries
because the population lives so  widespread.)  The Italian one certainly
helped me when I stayed in Italy for 11 weeks).  The series is called
'Teach Yourself Books' and the Italian one was first printed 1943...
so, they may be out of print by now.
