The translations made by machine translations today are mostly used as

Kenneth, those are great points, and I know machine translations all too
well. An interesting anecdote is that I learned three romance languages by
them. The Germanic languages are extremely difficult for machine
translators, as German has upwards of eleven possible translations of the
English word to move. That's just Hochdeutsch! Ironically the translators
can handle the four Kasus, but those synonyms are their downfall.
