"korv" i believe is swedish for "sausage", (food nonetheless) not sure what
they call a loaf of bread.

Norwegian for a loaf of bread is simply " et brød ". "Loff" is white bread
usually eaten with shrimps, crad or lobster.

"to carve" is either " skjær ut " or " skjær opp "

I don't think the scandinavian languages have a word in use that is
(etmologically) recognisably linked to "carve".

About bread....    I think it is korv...

Might have somthin g to do with it..
