Moin, Lowlanders,

In response to Brian´s suggestion to create a written lingua franca à la
Chinese, Luc replied:

> This is one of the best proposals that I've heard in ages

I second that.
I´m surprised to see no other reactions in LLL.
Maybe this sounds so outlandish that it is difficult to imagine its
implications.
Sure, the number of subjects treated on the LLL would decrease. It wouldn´t
matter anymore whether a language had a navy. We wouldn´t have to concern
ourselves with anything related to language policies, language survival etc
and our minds would be free to concentrate, as we presently do part-time, on
the real thing, our LLlanguages.
