Hello,

here comes my report on "tag questions" in "Westphalian" substandard (but
not Low Saxon)...

Some older people do indeed still use "nich wahr", "niwar", or "nech". But
the most used variants are
"ne" or "wa".

Habbich do gut gemacht, wa?
(I have done it well, haven't I?)

Habbich do gut gemacht, ne?
(I have done it well, haven't I?)

In the eastern part of Westphalia another option is "woll".

Der BVB spielt widda astrein, woll?
(Borussia Dortmund is playing an excellent match again, isn't it?)

I guess both "nech" and "ne" are derived from "nich". "wa" is probably a
variant of the
wh-question word "wat" (what). "woll" seems to be the Low Saxon adverb
"well"...

I must have repressed that song totally (and I'm hoping I'll
succeed in forgetting it once more...).
