Well, Andrys, I don't think I'll follow you there ...  ;-)

However, I do owe you a corrected proto-Polynesian reconstruction:

Ko'i'ulalalo-Mōlīkīkaha
> (< Tokikurararo Mōrīkītafa)

(< Tokikurararo Mōrītītafa)

Furthermore:

>  lalo (leeward, lee, southern)

Actually, the basic meaning is 'down', 'below', 'beneath', etc.

So you can translated the name in different ways:

Albatross-Gliding-Beneath-Rainbow-Hued-Mist
Southern-Rainbow-Hued-Mist-Through-Which-An-Albatross-Is-Gliding
Southern-Rainbow-Hued-Mist-And-Soaring-Albatross
Rainbow-Hued-Mist-And-Soaring-Albatross-Down-Under
etc.

BTW, mist is one of the most romantic metaphors in Polynesian literature.

suckers.
