Dear Lowlanders,

Yesterday I wrote:

Unfortunately, this keeps happening in more than just a couple of cases in 
which subscriptions seem all right and subscribers seem to be doing all the 
right things.  I am sorry about this and am looking into what is causing 
this.  In the meantime, if this is happening to you, please send a courtesy 
copy (cc) of your submissions to lowlands-l at lowlands-l.net (and only to this 
address please).  I will let you know if your submissions regularly arrive 
double, in which case all is well and you should stop sending copies.

Especially if you compose long or difficult submissions, you really ought to 
send copies to yourself as well if your mail system does not automatically 
safe copies of sent mail.  This allows you to resend your submissions in 
case anything goes awry.

Also, I need to remind you yet again to mark the subject lines of your 
submissions with "LL-L" or "Lowlands-L" (if they are not already thus marked 
in responses) to assure that they are clearly visible as Lowlands-L 
submissions.
