OK, I'm at a loss! Stephen King??!!

PS Thanks for the kind words, Ron. The Middle English verse version was
particularly fun to work with!

Nah. You're too close to it, if you know what I mean. Let's see if anyone
else can figure it out.

Ok, a clue: "Every Christmas"

> PS Thanks for the kind words, Ron.

Every word was the truth. My mom said you may come over to play anytime.

Actually, so far there hasn't been a single participant in the anniversary
project that hasn't been a joy to work with. Aside from the informational
and promotional benefits, it's been a nice project in that it exemplifies
the spirit of Lowlands-L: cooperative, non-competitive, supportive,
friendly, kind and non-hierarchical, aside from enthusiastic. Let's keep it
that way! Personally, it has been a very pleasant experience for me in that
I got to have some rare one-on-one time with quite a few of you, and this
has been strengthening my affection and admiration for everyone, besides
making me discover that all those gems among us sparkle even more than I had
known previously.

Thanks again, everyone! Let's keep it going.

I still haven't gotten this press release thing on the road. What I have in
mind is between a quarter and a half of a page: (1) mentioning the
anniversary and the presentation that marks it, (2) briefly explains the
purpose and history of the List, its size (ca. 500), it's international and
diverse basis, character and atmosphere (also mentioning the mixture of
"experts" and "lay people"), (3) invites folks to visit the site, possibly
add translations and leave a message in the visitors book, (4) tells them
how to get in touch (web, email) and to subscribe. I would like the
English, German, Dutch, Afrikaans and possibly other versions to be
language- or country-specific, using an emphasis, a tone and an approach
that is best suited in each case. Perhaps one of you has access to school
nets and might like to disseminate the news to them (with an emphasis on
high schools, I think). Over the years I have learned that high schools as
well as individual high school and university students and educators avail
themselves of the information we provide. Any help with this would be much
appreciated.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
