In Stellingwarf numen we dit naost et _hekseschot_ ok wel _heksescheut_ of
kotweg een _schot_ in de rogge.
De meest gebrukelike name is liekewel _spit_.

Sometimes known as "The Screws" in some parts of England.  Traditionally any sick
animal or person was sometimes said to be "Elf-shot", but I don't think that
applied to any specific medical condition
