Thanks, Dave.  I know.  Go figure!  The homepage directory is down, but the 
anniversary directory, which is in a subfolder, is up, is accessible with no 
problem (and it wasn't this morning).

The root directory files had their chmod setting at 0.  So I set them 
correctly (755), and it still doesn't work.  It went just fine when this 
happened to the anniversary files a few days ago and I reset it.

It must have something to do with human interference, which is why I'm pee'd 
off.  :-(  Apparently there was an issue with security and unsuccessful 
juvenile hacking attempts, which we have explained and so far have received 
not written response to.  Which is why I am considering switching providers, 
even though this contract is supposed to be good till July.

I found an Irish provider's page (http://www.freshhost.net/hosting.php), I 
read a couple of good reports about the service, and at the moment Mathieu 
and I like what we see.  Does anyone know any more about it?
