Grappig dat je dit noemt, Rikus, ik heb namelijk precies dezelfde 
ervaring: als ik tijdens mijn studententijd in Eindhoven voor de grap wel 
eens Zuid-West-Drents praatte merkten mijn vrienden op dat mijn hele 
gezichtsuitdrukking veranderde, met name hoe ik mijn mond bewoog, mijn 
onderkaak en mijn lippen meer naar voren bracht. 
In het Nederlands doe ik dat dus niet, noch in het Achterhoeks. 
Waarschijnlijk is mijn 'mondzetting', of zoals Roger H. correct zei mijn 
articulatiebasis, zelfs op het Achterhoeks gebaseerd, in ieder geval had 
ik als kind een sterk Winterswijks accent, zo heb ik later terug kunnen 
horen op oude cassette-opnamen, bijna tegen een Duits accent aan.
