Talking about such, how about using your connection to get a bit of Ghana
language action for the anniversary site, Tom? (Yes, I *am* persistent.)

Maybe with tone marks for the furners out there?

Sure, and any other bell or whistle.

Talking about "anniversary," I need to officially bestow a kudos upon our Vlad
who has been very supportive and helpful on and off the List.

As I said, with the help of the statistics generator I learn that all the
anniversary site pages (http://www.lowlands-l.net/anniversary/) get "hits," and
"hits" come from all over the world. This includes more "exotic" countries,
during this week for instance Aruba, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Mali,
Mauretania, Mauritius, Nauru, Oman, São Tomé and Príncipe, Suriname, and Tuvalu.

Lowlands versions that have lately received increasing attention from all over
the world include African American Vernacular English, Afrikaans (both dialects),
British Sign Language, Mennonite Low Saxon and Old Saxon. Frisian, Dutch and Low
Saxon varieties are always popular, as are all varieties of English. Popular
also are personal introductions
(http://www.lowlands-l.net/anniversary/members.php). We should have more of those.

So get to work, folks, before the terrier snaps at your ankles! Please write to
me at sassisch at yahoo.com if you have any questions, especially if you have
goodies to share.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
