I forgot to mention that Low Saxon _wipsteyrt_ ~ _wüpsteyrt_ (<Wippsteert> ~
<Wippstiert> ~ <Wüppsteert>) can also denote a person, usually a child, that
can't sit still for any length of time, that keeps moving and running around
or that is impatient.

The adjective that describes such a person or their behavior is _hibbelig_
["hIb=llIC], _hippelig_["hIp=llIC],  _hiddelig_ ["hId=llIC],  _hittelig_
["hIt=llIC], depending on the dialect. This word is also used in most
forms of Missingsch. (_Hibbelig_ is one of my wife's favorite adopted words
...) The basic sense is 'fidgety', 'always on the move', 'impatient',
'impetuous', etc.

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
